The latest edition of this infrequent title now includes new issues up to September 2008. It includes the; stamps of mainland USA plus those areas and periods under American influence or control for Hawaii, Guam, Cuba, Panama Canal Zone, Philippines and Puerto Rico.

There are detailed valuations for earlier issues in strips and blocks of 4 and on cover, sheet number blocks, on cover prices up to 1944, then first day covers, also varieties and all stamp booklets and booklet panes, official stamps, private perforations, parcels, postal savings and telegraphs, newspaper stamps and stamps from the Foreign American Postal Offices.

The early Postmaster Provisionals and the Confederate issues are included.

There is an extensive Design Index to the USA mainland issues. In all some 800+ pages, in German with no concessions to the non-German reader, but nevertheless mostly easy to follow. About 5,500 black and white illustrations.
