Both these titles contain editorial, as well as price, revisions.; In both volumes, all the major countries, apart from Spain and San Marino appear to have new issues listed well into 2010.; ;The volume cover prices are similar, and so too are the catalogue page extents with 1349 and 1377 respectively.

In Part 2 the overview table for France has been revised; and Spanish Booklets are now listed with their respective stamp issues. Price increases are especially noted for French issues from 2000 onwards, and for early Spanish issues.; France, Portugal and Spain all contain extensive lists, with colour illustrations, of their now quite attractive, thematically appealing, Counter/Machine labels, treated as little more than till receipts by the British post office, and so despised by British collectors.; By contrast, there are few, if any, of these items issued by the Part 3 countries.

In Part 3 many of the booklet sections are now dispersed with the respective stamp issues.; Malta has been well reviewed with a number of upward price changes, especially in more modern issues.

Both volumes are in the new style, with whiter paper, improved colour illustrations, and lay-flat binding, making them a pleasure to use.
