This is the "Official Catalogue of the United Nations" and bears the UN flag and UNPA emblem and is bilingual in German and English throughout. It brings together the stamps of the United Nations from seven different standard Michel catalogues and provides much more information than the general catalogues in terms of content. It thus provides the ideal basis for the systematic establishment of a specialised collection.

In addition to the issues - now listed to October 2009 - of the main New York, Geneva and Vienna offices, plus the fore-runner overprints on Swiss stamps there are some seventeen other sections for particular organizations and peace-keeping forces around the world.

The Postal Stationery is also comprehensively covered.

Since the last edition, some 220 Michel main numbers have been added in the stamps sections alone, plus the addition of newly discovered varieties. Last day of sale dates have been added for the last five years. There is a warning of false stamps and stamp booklets of Kosovo.

Significant price increases are noted for rare and required Post Office Label Sheets, and also further price increases for some UNMIK issues. There are now some 29,000 priced items, and with over 2700 colour illustrations, numerous look-up tables and a Colour Glossary, occupy 669pp.
