This new title in the Michel list provides a simplified listing of those countries, which are now members of the EU, of the issues they have made from their year of joining.  Thus issues for Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands are listed from 1957, the EFTA countries, Denmark, Great Britain, Norway and others from 1960, Estonia, Latvia etc from 2004, and the latest members Bulgaria and Rumania from 2007.  In all some 27 countries are included, most showing issues to mid-2007.

The publisher feels this will be an excellent catalogue for those who only wish to collect EU issues, and all the information on a simplified basis is of course taken directly from the full Michel European catalogues using basic Michel numbers. However, to conserve space, only set prices - un-mounted mint and fine used - are given for each issue, plus Miniature sheets and Machine labels.  Philatelic information is limited to date of issue and title of set. The volume already stretches to nearly 1700pp and is printed in full colour throughout.
