An in-depth study of the British post offices in Tangier and the Spanish and French areas of Morocco, from the transition period from Gibraltar administration to the GPO in 1907 to Moroccan independence in 1956.  Historical perspectives are provided in regard to, for example, wartime service, competition with other post offices, and financial threats.  Extensive chapters on cancellations and postal rates complete this work.  Illustrated in colour and black & white.
