The Encyclopaedia of British West Indies Postmarks

The Encyclopaedia of British West Indies Postmarks - King George VI, by D Horry.

Published by Murray Payne Ltd, 2007.  S/B, 368pp.

This catalogue details the postmarks of the British West Indies, Bermuda and British Honduras during the reign of King George VI, from 1937 to the mid-1950s.  Chapters are arranged by colony, and markings are listed by type (single circles, double circles, machine marks, registered ovals, temporary rubber datestamps, etc) within each chapter.  A scarcity rating accompanies each postmark.  Special sections on air mails, paquebot marks and maritime cancellations are also included.  Tables showing post offices and shipping lines complete this study.  Fully illustrated in colour.

This product was added to our catalog on Saturday 05 January, 2008.
